The Reds Desperately Need a Win
The Cincinnati Reds are in the fight of their lives. At 63-59, they are just 2.0 games back from the top spot in the NL Central. They are battling with the Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago Cubs for the coveted divisional title, and the automatic playoff berth that comes with it. The Reds have not been at their best since returning from the All-Star break, going 13-18 in the 2nd half of the season, and after winning just 4 of their last 10, Cincy is desperate for a win.
The Toronto Blue Jays will not be an easy opponent though. Toronto is 67-55, making them the 5th-best team in the American League, and with a 24-13 (64.9%) record against the NL, the Blue Jays are a tough customer. Toronto is good on the road, winning 55.6% of their away games, and with Bo Bichette set to make his return on Saturday, the Blue Jays will certainly be favored in this one.
Take the Blue Jays Moneyline against the Reds. Cincinnati won’t be able to handle the mounting pressure, and the Blue Jays will exploit the Reds lackluster pitching. Bo Bichette will add a much needed spark to Toronto’s batting, and the Reds won’t be able to cage the Blue Jays.
So for our Blue Jays vs. Reds expert pick, take the Toronto Blue Jay Moneyline on Saturday.
