Mets and Astros both look to get out of slump
The Mets are not having a great month. They sit at 4-11 and have dropped from second to fourth in the division in the last two weeks. They have won 3 of their last 10 and need to get out of this form if they would like to make noise later on in the season. They start this stretch against a struggling Astros team and need to take this series.
The Astros look to get back on track after losing 3 of their last 4 series. They’ve lost 7 of their last 10 and drop to 3rd in the division after getting swept by the Reds. Astros will be hungry to end this home stretch strong after an embarrassing sweep. They should try to take advantage of this reeling Mets team.
