The Mariners Playoff Push Continues 

The Seattle Mariners are off to yet another impressive winning streak. In their last 10, the M’s went 7-3, collecting their 6th-straight win after a crucial sweep of the Houston Astros. Seattle has been one of the hottest teams in the MLB over the past two months, posting a combined record of 31-13 (win-rate: 70.45%) in July and August. Odds are pending but the M’s are likely the favorites in this one, and as favorites Seattle is 50-39. 

The Chicago White Sox are the 4th-worst team in the MLB and have virtually no chance to reach the postseason. Overall, the White Sox are 49-75 with a run differential of -108, making them a bottom-tier team. The White Sox went 8-12 in their last 20, 3-7 in their last 10, and they are 1-2 against the Mariners this season. The odds are certainly stacked against Chicago, and I don’t expect the White Sox to pull off the upset against the red-hot Seattle Mariners.
