The Dodgers Can’t Stop Winning

The Los Angeles Dodgers are having a tremendously successful season. They sit atop the NL West with a 72-46 record, making the Dodgers the 2nd-best team in the National League, and the 3rd-best team in the MLB. They are currently on a 9-game winning streak, making them the hottest team in the league. The Dodgers were an impressive 9-1 in their last 10, averaging 5.7 runs, 9.3 hits, 1.1 home runs, and just 2.9 runs against per game.

The Milwaukee Brewers remain the leaders of the NL Central, but at 65-55 they lead by just 3.5 games. Milwaukee’s 4-game winning streak was snapped on Tuesday after a 2-6 loss against the Dodgers in the series opener. The Brewers are 6-4 in their last 10, averaging 4.9 runs, 8.0 hits, 1.1 home runs, and 4.5 runs against per contest. 

I like the Dodgers in this one. They are clearly the better team, and in their current form LA could beat anyone in the MLB. The Dodgers are 3-1 against the Brewers, holding Milwaukee under 3 runs in 3 of their 4 matchups.
