Texas Rangers Undefeated in 2023 MLB Playoffs
In the ALDS matchup between the Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles, it’s the Rangers who hold a 2-0 lead over the Orioles. Baltimore may have entered this series as the favorite, but after 2 games, the Rangers have turned the tables. Entering Game 3, the Texas Rangers have yet to lose a playoff game (4-0), and are now favored over the No. 1 seed Orioles. The Rangers certainly have the hot hand, but if anyone can cool them off, it’s the Baltimore Orioles.
In a contentious Game 3, I have the Baltimore Orioles handing the Texas Rangers their first loss of the postseason. In order to avoid the 3-0 deficit, it’s a must win game for Baltimore. The Rangers are averaging 6.25 runs and 10.0 hits per game in the playoffs, and have a +14 run differential through 4 games. The Rangers have caught fire at the perfect moment, but the Orioles are the No. 1 seed for a reason. It’s hard to imagine Baltimore going down 0-3 after the season they had, regardless of the fact that Game 3 is on the road. The Orioles won 64.2% of their away games this season, and won’t go down easy in Texas.
