Tampa Turns It Around 

The Tampa Bay Rays remain a favorite to make a deep postseason run, but after posting an 8-16 record in july, they now trail the Orioles by 2.0 games in the American League. The Rays went 6-4 in their last 10, scoring 4.4 runs per game and allowing 4.5 to their opponents. Fortunately for the Rays, they are facing the lowly Tigers who they beat 8-0 on Friday. 

The Detroit Tigers are 48-61 and have little to no chance at making the playoffs. The Tigers are 48-61, putting them 12th in the American League and 17.5 games behind Tampa Bay. Detroit is winless against the Rays this season with an 0-4 record, and are coming off their second scoreless game against Tampa. 

I like the Rays in this one. They average 7.25 runs and 10 hits per game against Detroit, and have given up just 3 runs to the Tigers through 4 games. The Rays will extend their undefeated streak against the Tigers and continue their chase for the American League title.
