Surging Brewers Host Chart Topping Braves
The Milwaukee Brewers are leading the NL Central with a 54-43 record. The Brewers are now 2.5 games up on the Cincinnati Reds for first in the division after Milwaukee won 8 of their last 10. The Brewers are having a great month, posting an 11-4 record in July. Milwaukee is coming off back-to-back wins over the Phillies, shutting them out in their 4-0 win on Thursday. The Brewers are playing well, but will face the toughest test of their season when they go against the MLBs best on Friday.
The Atlanta Braves snapped a 4-game losing streak after beating the Diamondbacks 7-5 in a comeback victory on Thursday. Now at 61-33, the Braves are 3.5 games up, and remain the best team in baseball. They lead the league with an outstanding 182 home runs, 27 more than the next best team. They average 9.2 runs per game, and are tied for the 2nd-best run differential at +145. It’s hard to go against the Braves, and even though they went an uninspiring 5-5 in their last 10, I like their chances against Milwaukee.
So for our Braves vs. Brewers expert pick, take the Atlanta Braves Moneyline on Friday.
