Struggling Mets host Cubs

The Mets basically gave up on their season at the trade deadline. They traded away their two aces away and they are now sitting at 51-61 on the year. They are now with a ay back of the rest of the Wild Card teams and it is looking very bleak for them. 

The Cubs season looked like it was over just a couple of weeks ago but they have caught fire and are now 58-55 on the season. They are just 2.5 games back of the first place Brewers in the NL Central. They are 6-4 in their last ten games. 

Take the Cubs in this one. The Cubs are starting the superior starting pitcher in Kyle Hendricks. Hendricks is 4-6 on the season with a 3.98 ERA but he has an amazing 1.11 WHIP on the year. He is facing off against Drew Peterson who is 5-7 on the season and has a horrible 5.65 ERA and 1.61 WHIP on the year. This should be another win for the streaking Cubs here.
