The Mets are 41-46 on the season. They are playing good baseball right now as they have won five straight games. They are still in fourth place in the NL East though. This team is starting to show signs of a turnaround here.

I am going to take the Padres in this one. I know the Mets have won five straight games and are starting a bit of winning streak here but the Mets have David Peterson on the mound. He has been horrible this season as he has a 2-6 record and a 6.61 ERA. He also has a ridiculously bad 1.67 WHIP. Blake Snell, who is on the other side, has been much better as he has a 3.03 ERA. The Padres should slow down the Mets here.
