San Diego vs San Fran

The San Diego padres versus the San Francisco Giants isn’t exactly a huge rivalry that we have looked toward this season. The San Diego padres made waves when they traded for superstar Juan Soto but then lost their other young superstar Fernando Tatís for the year. For a time it seems like San Diego might not make the playoffs but think to a late push they were able to clinch the second wildcard spot. They don’t have any room to slide up in the rankings but can fall down to the third wildcard spot if they do not win the last couple games on their season. The Padres are concluding a season with a series against the San Francisco Giants. The Giants were the second team out from the wildcard slot but they were a total of 6.5 games back and that was influenced a lot by the fact that they have won eight of their last 10 games although they have been quite meaningless. With that being said I expect them to continue winning meaningless games for them and the Padres will have to win the next two to stay in their current spot.
