The Phillies have now lost three straight games to a combination of the Nationals and the Rangers. They have been outscored by an average of 5 runs per game over their last three games. They are now 36-34 on the season and have lost significant ground on the Braves and the Mets while the Marlins gained on them.

The Padres have won three straight games. They are now first in the NL West with a record of 44-27. They are just ahead of the Dodgers as the Dodgers are half a game back.
