Slumping Marlins visit Reds

The Marlins are in shambles at the moment. They have now lost five straight games and are now 58-56 on the season. They have fallen 4.5 games back of the Phillies in the division and have a winning percentage worse than .350 since the All Star Break. 

The Reds are also in a bit of a slump at the moment. They have lost seven of their last ten games and are now 60-55 on the season. They are still only 1.5 games back of the Brewers in first place though. 

I really like the under in this game. This total is insanely high because both of these pitchers have ERAs over 5.00 on the season but if we dive a bit deeper we will see that Johnny Cueto of the Marlins was really good in his last start and the bullpen let him down. Ashcraft for the Reds has an ERA of 5.18 but over his last eight starts he has been dominant with a 2.05 ERA. I expect both of these pitchers to put up some decent performances.
