Slumping Brewers try to regain division

The Brewers are in shambles right now. Before finally winning their last game they had lost eight straight games. They have now lost a division lead to the Cardinals. They sit at 34-28 and are .5 games behind the Cardinals in the division. 

The Mets are now the best team in the AL. Despite going through multiple injuries they are still trucking along. They are coming off of a win over the Angels. They now finally go home back to New York after a western road trip. 

The Mets are starting Chris Bassitt and the Brewers are starting Adrian Houser. Houser has a 3-6 record but he has a 3.92 ERA on the season. Bassitt has a 4-4 record but he has 4.35 ERA. None of these pitchers pop off the page and the Mets have the best offense in baseball so I am going to take the over here. For that same reason I like the Mets. They are back at home and have the number one offense in baseball.
