Slipping Padres visit Coors

The Padres have not been their normal selves lately. They have lost seven of their last ten games and two in a row to the Giants. In their last game they were blown out. They are now 49-38 on the season and have fallen a full 7.5 games behind the streaking Dodgers.

The Rockies are coming off of a win over the Diamondbacks. They are 38-48 on the season and are tied for last in the NL West. At home they are great as they are 23-21 but on the road they are 14-27.

This total is huge but it may be a bit of a trap. This total is justified as they are playing in Coors Field. The Padres are pitching Sean Manaea who hasn’t been good lately as over his last four starts he is 0-1 with a 6.60 ERA. The Rockies are pitching Jose Urena. He has only made one start this year and I don’t trust him against this Padres offense.
