The Marlins went 69-93 last year. For a while they were hanging around the playoff picture but their last two months or so were absolutely horrible. They are hoping that some more time to develop for their young guys will translate to more wins. 

The Mets are coming off of a great season where they went 101-61. They had a very disappointing postseason though as they were upset by the Padres in the Wild Card round. They come into this season hoping for revenge despite losing their ace in Jacob Degrom.
Take the under in this one. The Marlins will have the reigning Cy Young winner in Sandy Alcantara on the mound while the Mets are going to have future first ballot hall of famer Max Scherzer. These guys combined for 25 wins and 13.2 WAR last year. This should be a great pitchers duel.
