He let two runs on four hits over 6.0 innings in that encounter, while he struck out nine with two walks. For the year, Wood has a fantastic 1.50 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts in 18.0 innings. The 30-year-old lefty has been San Francisco’s best pitcher so far in this campaign, and that’s why San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies Odds are on the Giants’ side.

Colorado still owns the worst record in the NL

The Colorado Rockies (10-18) failed to conclude the series against the Arizona Diamondbacks with a win after scoring a season-high 14 runs previously.

Although they deserved to win (12-9 hits), the Rockies suffered an 8-4 defeat thanks to closer Daniel Bard, who allowed four runs in the 8th. This Colorado team has more potential than results are showing thus far in the season, and it’s only a matter of time when they’ll start playing better.
