Rockies visit Red hot Braves
The Braves are 41-26 on the season. They have continued their dominance of the last three seasons and are tied for the best record in the NL at the moment. They lead the NL East by 4.5 games and are one of the favorites to win the World Series.
The Rockies have been bad all season and it doesn’t look like this team is turning it around anytime soon. They are now 29-40 and they sit in last place in the NL West. They are 4-6 in their last ten games.
I like the under in this one. The Braves will be starting A.J. Smith-Shawyer in this one. He only has one start this season but he threw five and a third innings of scoreless baseball. Kyle Freeland will be on the mound for the Rockies. He has a 3.91 ERA on the season but we have to remember that those numbers might be a bit inflated considering he pitches at Coors park. He is still a quality pitcher.
