Reds try to rebound

The Reds came out of nowhere in July to take first place in the NL Central. They are now 44-39 on the season and are one of the youngest and most exciting teams in baseball this year. They are just 0.5 games ahead of the Brewers for first place.

The Padres are not having the season envisioned. This team is in fourth place in the NL West. They are 3-7 in their last ten games and are just not a good baseball team at the moment. They may be sellers at the deadline coming up.

I like the Reds in this one. The Reds are going to have Andrew Abbott on the mound. He has been special this season as he has a 1.21 ERA on the season. Abbot has only allowed four runs through 29.2 innings this year and should keep it up. He is facing Yu Darvish who has dropped off this year and is not the pitcher he has been in previous years as he has a 4.84 ERA.
