Reds look to extend Central league
The Reds are playing great baseball right now. They lead the NL Central by half a game and sit at 47-39 on the year. They have won six of their last seven games and three straight. This is a fun team to watch and they should compete this year.
The Nationals are one of the worst teams in the MLB. They sit in last place in the NL East this year. They sit at 34-51 on the season which is good for the second worst record in the NL. This team is young though and probably has a bright future.
Take the over in this one. The Reds have one of the most exciting and powerful offenses in the league and both of these pitchers aren’t very good. Mackenzie Gore is on the mound for the Nats and he has a 4.48 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP. Brandon Williamson for the Reds has been even worse with a 5.56 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP. The Reds and Nats should absolutely get after it here.
