Red Sox Storm Ahead With 5-Game Win Streak

The Boston Red Sox are in San Francisco, and on Sunday, they will take on the Giants in the final matchup of their 3-game series. The Red Sox won 3-2 over the Giants on Friday, extending their winning streak to 5 games. 

The Giants are 56-48 on the season, but have only won 3 of their last 10 games. The Giants are 2nd in the NL West and 6th in the National League, but they are 13-17 against the AL. In the opener against Boston, the Giants recorded just 6 hits, and were bolstered by Joc Pederson’s solo shot in the bottom of the 8th, but fell short in the 9th. 

I like the Red Sox in this one. They are in fine form at the moment, and while Boston and San Francisco are evenly matched sides, Boston has been more consistent and will win the series with a win on Sunday.
