Red-hot Redbird host Nats
The Cardinals are playing great baseball right now. They have won eight of their last ten games and are coming off of a win over the Nats. They are 27-8 over their last 35 games. They are now 80-56 on the season and are 9.5 games ahead of the Brewers in the Central.
The Nationals are playing pretty well right now. Despite being the worst team in the MLB at 48-88 they have won six of their last ten games. They are 1.5 games back of the A’s for second worst record in the MLB.
The Cardinals are just way too big favorites here to take them. Instead, I like the under. Adam Wainwright is on the mound for the Cards here. He has been great all season but over his last three starts he has regressed a bit as he has a 4.19 ERA. He is facing Josiah Gray who is 7-9 on the season with a 4.91 ERA. With the way the Cardinals are hitting and the way the Nationals have been playing better lately I gotta go with the over here.
