Red hot Giants host Padres

The Padres are not having the season they envisioned. After making it all the way to the NLCS last year they got Fernando Tatis back and they have not been good. They are 35-37 this season and sit in fourth place in the NL West. They are 6-4 in their last ten. 

The Giants are 40-32 on the season. They are absolutely on fire at the moment having won eight games in a row after spending the season around 500.They are now just 3.5 games back of first. 

I like the Giants here. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as they have won eight in a row. They are pitching Sean Manaea who does have a 5.84 ERA on the season but this is a revenge game for him against his former team. Yu Darvish is pitching for the Padres and he has not been good at all this season with a 4.74 ERA. I think these two pitchers are pretty even so I am going to lean towards the hottest team in baseball and the team at home.
