The Padres did not start this season off well. They have bounced back over the last ten games going 7-3. They are 33-34 on the season and are trying to claw back into the playoff race.
The Rays have been the best team in the MLB for the entire season. They have been tied for or had the best record in the MLB everyday of this season. They are 50-22 on the season and look unstoppable at the moment.
I love the Rays in this one. I think we are getting amazing value with one of the frontruners for the Cy Young award on the mound. The Rays are starting Shane McClanahand who has a 10-1 record on the season and a 2.18 ERA. He has been sensational this year. He is facing Yu Darvish who has been decent this season with a 5-4 record and a 4.30 ERA. The Rays should take care of the Padres behind McClanahan’s arm.
