Rangers need wins in the Big Apple

The Rangers had been in first place in the AL West all season up until they lost that title this week. They are in a horrible slump right now having lost nine of their last ten games. They are now 73-57 on the season and are a game behind the Mariners.

The Mets season is pretty much over. They have now dropped to last place in the NL East and are now 60-71 on the year. They have lost four of their last five games and are pretty much looking ahead to next year it seems like. 

I think the Rangers use the Mets as a bounce back here. The Rangers are still the best offense in the AL this year and can only be kept down for so long. They will have the better pitcher on the mound in Jon Gray who has a 3.76 ERA on the year. This is much better than Mets starter Tylor Megill who is 7-7 on the year with a 5.54 ERA. The Mets will struggle to contain this offense.
