Pirates visit desert

The Pirates are coming off of a nice 8-1 win over the Orioles. Other than that though there hasn’t been a lot of things going right for them. They are 44-64 on the season and have lost six of their last ten games. They have the third worst record in the NL.

The Dbacks are also coming off of a nice win as they beat the Rockies 6-4. This helped them move to 48-59 on the season. They are still a year or two away from contending but this team has overperformed in a great way this season.

I love the Dbacks at home here. The Pirates will be going with a bullpen game while the Dbacks will be starting their ace in Zach Gallen. Gallen is 6-2 this season with a 3.31 ERA. The Pirates have the 25th worst bullpen in the MLB.
