Phillies look to gain on Mets and Braves

The Phillies are now 36-32 on the season. They really turned their season around with a nine game winning streak. They have seven of their last ten games and are coming off of a loss to the Nationals. They had won five straight before that. 

The Rangers are struggling right now. They have lost two in a row to the Tigers. They are now 5-5 in their last ten and 31-35 on the season. They are third in the division again as they have fallen behind the Angels who are 33-36.

This is an interesting pitching matchup as both Kyle Gibson and Martin Perez are 4-2 on the season. If you look closer thought you’ll see that Perez is the much better pitcher as he has a 2.10 ERA while Gibson sits at 4.04. I really like Perez as a pitcher and with the way the Phillies are playing right now I think this will be a close, low scoring game.
