Phillies and Cubs both look to stay hot
The Phillies are 41-37 on the season. They have rebounded from a poor start to the season and they are now in the thick of the Wild Card race. They are playing well at the moment having gone 7-3 in their last ten games.
The Cubs are also playing decent baseball at the moment after a bad start to the season. They are 7-3 in their last ten games and it has moved them up to 37-40 on the season. Their division has been awful so they are only 3.5 games back of the Reds for first place.
I like the Phillies in this game. Both of these teams are hot right now but the Phillies are ultimately the better team overall. Don’t forget that this team made the World Series last year. This lineup is just so gifted offensively that I think they give Kyle Hendricks problems. Plus, they just seem to love hitting when Taijuan Walker is on the mound as he has an 8-3 record on the season.
