Padres look to continue their winning ways

The Padres are playing really well right now. They have now won four of their last five as they swept the Cubs. They now own a 41-25 record. They have now won seven of their last ten games. The Padres are now ahead of the Dodgers and have the second best record in the NL. Remember, they’re doing this without Fernando Tatis Jr. 

The Rockies are now 28-37 on the season. They are coming off of a 10-4 win over the Padres are last in the NL West. They have the second worst run differential in the NL at -69. 

I really don’t see how the Padres aren’t favored by more here. They are clearly the better team and they have the much better pitcher on the mound. I think the books are undervaluing Blake Snell’s value here. Since his return from the injured list he hasn’t played too well but I think he turns it around here. Meanwhile, the Rockies will have Antonio Senzatela on the mound who has a 4.73 ERA. Senzatela has given up 10 earned runs in his last 15.1 innings.
