NL West showdown in Los Angeles
The Dodgers are in what might be their biggest slump of the season as they have lost three games in a row. They dropped two to the Mets and one to the Padres. They are still 90-41 on the season and own the best record in the MLB by 5.5 games.
The Padres are playing great right now. They have won four games in a row to catapult their record to 74-59 on the season. They have won seven of their last ten games. They have a four game cushion in the Wild Card race.
