NL West rivals battle

The Dodgers are having a great season sitting atop their division and 2nd in the National League with a 63-45 record. They’ve won 6 of their last 10 and look to continue their form with the Giants hot on their heels. They haven’t been great away but look to improve that record in San Diego.

The Padres are not having what they’ve hoped for. Coming in with a top 5 payroll baseball with a 54-56 record and sitting 4th in their division is not what they wanted. Winning 6 of 10 they need a lot of improvement to chase down the rest of the division.
