NL East showdown in Philly

The Braves are 58-40 on the season. They are now only two game behind the Mets in the division. They had a chance to get within half a game but they dropped a game to the Angels two nights ago. This is a huge series as the Phillies could close the gap in the division. 

The Phillies are now 50-46 on the season. They had lost three straight games as they were swept by the lowly Cubs before beating the Braves. That series was a chance for them to beat up on a bad team but instead they lost ground and were swept by a bad team.

I like the Braves to bounce back here. They will have the hotter pitcher on the mound in Charlie Morton as he is coming off of a six-inning shutout win while the Phillies are starting Kyle Gibson. Gibson is coming off a start where he only went 4.1 innings and allowed six runs. The Braves will even the series here.
