The Yankees are now 59-23 on the season. They are still on track for around 120 wins on the season. This puts them in a great position to break the wins record. They are coming off of a huge 16-0 win over the Pirates two night ago.

The Red Sox are coming off of back-to-back losses to the Rays. They are now 45-37 on the season and rank third in the AL East. They are tied with the Rays in the division and 0.5 games ahead of the Blue Jays in the division.

Nestor Cortes will be on the mound for the Yanks while Connor Seabold will oppose him. The Red Sox are in a bit of a slump right now and I think the Yankees will jump on that. Especially with the massive advantage the Yankees have on the mound here as Seabold has only made two appearances and has a 8.31 ERA while Cortes is 7-3 with a 2.44 ERA on the season. The Red Sox have a great offense anyways so they may be able to score some runs.
