NL East clash in Miami

The Marlins are coming off of an off day. Before that they lost a series finale to the Washington Nationals 5-4 in extra innings. The Marlins currently sit at 17-20 and are 7.5 games away from the first place Mets. The Marlins strength sits with their pitching as they are now fifth in the MLB with a great 3.33 team ERA.

The defending champion Braves have now dropped to fourth in the NL East. They started last year off poorly too and ended up winning the championship. I have faith that this team can get back on track, even without Freddie Freeman.

Charlie Morton and Trevor Rogers both haven’t done too well this season as they both have at least a 4.4 ERA. If you look deeper into it though you can see that Rogers and Morton have both only allowed one earned run over their last two starts. Both of these pitchers are hot so take the under here.

So for our Braves vs. Marlins expert pick take the under 7.5
