The Pirates are 34-32 on the season. After a sizzling start to the season but they have since cooled off and they only have one game lead in the division.
The Brewers are not playing good baseball right now after starting the season off red hot. They are 3-7 in their last ten games which has dropped them to 500 on the season at 34-34.
I like the Brewers here. They have such a big advantage in the pitching department. They are pitching Julio Teheran who is 1-2 on the season but he has a 1.48 ERA. He has only given up four runs in 24.1 innings pitched this season. The Pirates will have Rich Hill on the mound who has a 6-5 record and a 4.23 ERA. he has been mediocre at best this season. I trust Teheran to take care of business here.
