The Tigers are now 40-59 on the season. They are about to be caught by the Royals in the AL Central and be sent to last place. They have lost seven of their last ten. They also had to send their top prospect back down to Triple A.

The Blue Jays are the MLB’s hottest team. They have won seven straight games and are now 54-43 on the season. They passed the Rays and now own the first Wild Card spot. 

The Blue Jays will have Yusei Kikuchi on the mound who has been bad this year with a 3-5 record and a 5.12 ERA on the season. He will face Tyler Alexander who is 2-3 with a 4.05 ERA. Both of these pitchers aren’t very good and I think they will both get roughed up here. The Blue Jays offense is especially red hot they could explode for a huge game.
