MLB’s best and worst?
The Royals have the second worst record in the MLB and they are challenging for the worst spot. They are 20-54 on the season and have been horrible all season. They are 2-8 in their last ten games.
The Rays have been the polar opposite of them. They are the best team in the MLB and they have had the best winning percentage all year. They are now 52-25 on the season and they are ahead of the Orioles in the division by five games.
Just take the Rays in this one. They have the current favorite to win the AL Cy Young in Shane McClanahan. He has been special this season with a 11-1 record and a dazzling 2.12 ERA. He should absolutely shut down this brutal Royals lineup. The Royals will pitch Jose Cuas who does indeed have a 3-0 record but his ERA sits at 4.15. I would sprinkle this run line all the way up to -4.5.
So for our Royals vs. Rays expert pick take the Rays -1.5
