Mets try to turn season around

The Mets came into this season with World Series aspirations and they have fallen flat on their faces. They are just 47-53 on the season and they are way behind everyone else in the Wild Card Race. They are in fourth place in the NL East and just 5-5 in their last ten games. 

The Nationals are 43-59 on the season. They sit in last place in the NL East and their season is over. They are playing pretty decent as of late though as they have won six of ten but are far off making any dent in this division.

Take the under in this game. These are two good pitchers whose numbers don’t show their class. Scherzer has a 4.20 ERA and an 8-4 record but we know what he can deliver on any given night. Gore has also been good with a 4.37 but a 6-7 record. Both these offenses tend to struggle and should his this under.
