Mets look to stop skid as they host Rockies
The Mets are in a bit of a skid right now. They have lost back-to-back games to the Yankees and are 4-6 in their last ten games. They need to figure it out fast because the Braves are on fire and are now only three games back of first place.
The Rockies season is over as they are 54-71 on the season. They have lost seven of their last ten games and are coming off of a loss to the 16-4 loss to the Rangers.
The reason the Mets are such huge favorites in this game is because Jacob deGrom is on the mound. He is the best pitcher in baseball when healthy. He will be facing Ryan Feltner who is 2-4 with a 5.88 ERA on the season. The Rockies won’t score much if at all here. Feltner is coming off of a start where he went six innings and only gave up one run. I think the under is the play here as taking the Mets here -1.5 or outright would provide very little value.
So for our Rockies vs. Mets expert pick take the under 7 runs
