The Mets are one of the worst teams in baseball at the moment. They have not won a series since May 25. They have dropped to 4th in the division and don’t seem to be able to fix anything. Sitting with a 17-25 away record it will be a difficult task for this desperate Mets team to go into their division rival house and win.
The Phillies are in good form at the moment winning 7 of their last 10 and will be looking to take advantage of this abysmal Mets team. They sit only 3 games above 500 and would like to start chasing that top wildcard spot. Their home record of 19-13 is what’s keeping them alive this year. As they have struggled away.
