Mets look to build off blowout win

The Mets are coming off of a huge series win over the Braves and then a win over the Cubs. They are 56-34 on the season and are 6-4 in their last ten. They are coming off of a blowout 8-0 win over the Cubs that we predicted perfectly

The Cubs are 34-55 on the season. They have lost seven straight games and are at risk of falling into last place in the NL Central. They are tied with the Reds right now but own the tiebreaker. They own the longest losing streak in baseball.

Just take the Mets here. They get to visit a Cubs team that is slumping badly and they get to have a big pitching advantage. They get to face Marcus Stroman who is 2-5 with a 4.91 ERA on the season. While they will have Taijuan Walker who has been incredible this season as he is 7-2 with a 2.63 ERA and is coming off of a seven inning shut out.
