Mets host Brewers in the Big Apple
The Mets are in shambles. They were the team most bet on to win the World Series this year and now they are +350 to even make the playoffs. They are not playing well and are now 36-43 on the season. They are in fourth place in the NL East.
The Brewers are having a decent season. They are 41-38 on the year. They are 0.5 games behind the Reds for first place in the NL Central. They have flipped wins and losses in their last eight games.
I like the Mets in this one because they have Max Scherzer on the mound. He has been very off and on this season but he is still 7-2 with an ERA under 4. I think he delivers an outstanding performance here while Adrian Houser for the Brewers struggles against this Mets offense which is still a top lineup in the MLB.
