Mets and phillies face off in NL East matchup
The Mets are not having a good season. After dominating much of the regular season last year they have come out and started the season 35-41. Their offense has been good but their pitching has struggled this season and is the main reason for their downfall.
The Phillies are 39-37 on the season. They were not having a good season but they have caught fire a bit here over the last 15 games or so and they are now two games over 500. They are 7-3 in their last ten games.
This should be a Phillies win and I can see them winning this game by multiple runs. They have their ace Zach Wheeler who has been decent this year with a 3.48 ERA and a 6-4 record. That is way better than Carlos Carrasco who is 2-3 with an abysmal 6.34 ERA. The Phillies are at home and have the better pitcher on the mound in this one. I think they win by at least three runs.
