Mets and Angels clash

The Mets came into the season with sky high expectations but failed miserably. They are down in last place of the NL East with a 59-70 record on the year. After trading their aces at the deadline this team gave up. Splitting their last 10 this team is just trying to make it to the offseason and reload.

The Angels have been in terrible form recently and with Shohei Ohtani injured now it seems their season is over. They are 4th in the AL West with  62-67 record. Only winning 3 of their last 10 they need to turn it around now. It will be difficult to make the playoffs with an injured Ohtani.

Take the Angels in this game. Both teams haven’t been great so it should come down to pitching in this matchup. Peterson has been pretty bad for the Mets this year posting a 3-7 record and 5.59 ERA.
