Marlins look for Lopez to lead them to win

The Marlins were playing very well before dropping a game to the Pirates. They are now 41-44 on the season and are still only four games out of the last Wild Card spot. They may look to trade for a bat at the deadline as their pitching has been great. 

The Pirates are now 37-50 on the season. They are coming off of two straight impressive wins over the Brewers and a win over the Marlins. The Pirates are a worse team than their record shows though as they have the second worst run differential in the MLB.

The Marlins will have the clear pitching advantage here. They have Pablo Lopez on the mound. He is now 6-4 on the season with a 2.91 ERA. He is coming off of two straight great starts. J.T. Brubaker will be on the mound for the Pirates. He hasn’t been good lately or at all this season. Over his last three starts he has a 5.29 ERA. I love the Marlins to rebound and blowout the Pirates here.
