Both teams are coming off impressive win streaks.
The giants have the best record in baseball and have won 7 of their last 8 games just recently sweeping the reds. The Dodgers have won 8 of their last 10 after a brief losing skid to start the month.
The giants are now 14-4 at home and 29-16 overall. They also have the most blown leads of any team in baseball this year With 14…That means through the first five innings, they’ve been winning in all but a couple games. The bullpen will have to be on their A game against this tough Dodgers lineup.
The Giants vs Dodgers today have a fantastic pitching duel with 2 recently acquired pitchers, Alex Cobb for the giants. And Trevor Bauer for the dodgers. Both pitchers have been excellent so far this year. Bauer is 4-2 with a 2.20 era and alex wood is 5-0 with a 1.75 era!!
