The Rays have been ridiculous this season. They are the best record in the league at 30-9 and they are not slowing down anytime soon. They are 7-3 in their last ten games and they are coming off of a big win over the Yankees where they spanked the Yanks 8-2.
The Yankees have not gotten off to the start that they envisioned coming into the season. They are above 500 as they sit at 21-18 on the season but they are in last place in the AL East. They have won six of their last ten games though.
I like the Rays in this one. The Rays have played the Yankees really well this season winning three of four games. They also have their ace on the mound in Shane McClanahan who has been absolutely ridiculous this season. He is 7-0 on the season with 1.76 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP in 46 innings pitched. He will face Nestor Cortes who has not been good this season with a 4.74 ERA. This Rays team should continue to dominate.
