The Nationals have been horrendous this year. They are now 25-47 on the season and are in last place in the NL East by eight games. They have only won two of their last ten games. There are even rumblings that Juan Soto may be traded.

The Rangers are coming off of back-to-back wins over the Phillies. These were much needed as the Angels are gaining on them in the division. They are now 33-35 on the season and are 10 games behind the first-place Astros in the division.

It seems like the Nationals will be going with a bullpen game here while the Rangers will be starting Dane Dunning. I think Dunning is better than what his era and record show and I think he shuts down this horrendous Nationals offense.
