The Atlanta Braves are currently 100-60 and are the first seed in the NL East. They are one win away from clinching the division. In their last 10 games, they are 7-3 but are on a one-game losing streak after losing to the Marlins earlier this week. Before their game against the Marlins, the Braves swept the Mets in three-game series that gave them the tiebreaker in the NL East. In the season series against Miami, Atlanta leads 12-5.

The Miami Marlins, on the other hand, are currently 68-92, which is fourth place in the NL East. Over their last 10 games, they are also 7-3 and are currently on a three-game winning streak. Before the game against the Braves, the Marlins came off a series against the Brewers where they won 3 out of the 4 games they played on the road.

In this game, the Braves will have Max Fried take the mound for them and Elieser Hernandez for the Marlins. On the season, Fried is 14-7 with an ERA of 2.48 and a WHIP of 1.01. On the other hand, Hernandez is 3-6 with an ERA of 6.33 and a WHIP of 1.46. Although the Marlins won the first game, the Braves just need one more win to clinch the NL East, and they will not be stopped.
