The Mets are now 59-37 on the season. They are 6-4 in their last ten. They still have a miniscule 1.5 game lead on the Braves in the NL East. They are getting Jacob DeGrom back soon. 

The Yankees are at risk of being caught by the Astros and the Dodgers for the best record in the MLB. They are 66-31 on the season and have struggled lately as they are 5-5 in their last ten. The Dodgers are now only half a game back while the Stros are 1.5 games back.

This a great matchup as Jordan Montgomery and Taijuan Walker are on the mound. Walker has been the better pitcher lately and is 7-2 on the season. I think these offenses are pretty even but I like Walker much better than Montgomery here.
