This is a surprising run line. I understand that the Rockies are first in the MLB in batting average and the Giants rank eighth but this is a huge line. They also rank fifth and seventh in runs scored.
Both of the pitchers in this game have been good this season though as they have combined for a 5-2 record and both have a sub four ERA. Alex Cobb is on the bump for the Giants and he has a 12.4 k/9 ratio this season which is by far the best of his career as previously his career high was 9.5.
I like Cobb’s over in strikeouts here in this game. He has struck out 28 in just over 20 innings pitched this season and I expect that to continue against the Rockies.
